Chiropractic Provides A New Perspective of Health

Dr. Janet Harriger, Lancaster Chiropractor

Dr. Janet Harriger

I became interested in chiropractic care after having three knee surgeries that didn’t help me resume my normal athletic activities. I had thought that drugs and surgery would restore my knee. When they didn’t, I wanted to find a health profession that viewed the body from a different perspective. Chiropractic care helps the body to heal using natural means. I realized that health comes from within rather than from external means, and chiropractic fit my new perspective of health.

Chiropractic Education and Post Graduate Sports Education

I graduated from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. I went on to teach and coach at Elizabethtown College and Lebanon Valley College. I enjoyed teaching and coaching, but then found my passion in chiropractic. I graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I completed post-graduate studies in sport chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic. I am a member of the American Chiropractic Association, and the Lancaster Chiropractic Society. I began practicing in 1987.

I would like to be part of your health care team. Give my Lancaster office a call or email me with the link below. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you in person, and discuss your specific health concerns.
